Journal Club | Melis Gültekin & August Blicher Friis

Join us for Journal Club, where participants present and discuss new topics in a focused and informal setting. Each speaker will have 20 minutes to introduce a subject unfamiliar to them, fostering a shared learning experience and an interesting discussion.

This Journal Club will feature Melis Gültekin & August Blicher Friis. Melis will be talking about the Microbiome – How The Microbiome shapes Human Health and Identity: From influencing physical and mental health to shaping behaviour, the microbiome prompts a reexamination of what it means to be human. August will be talking about Capitalism. What Capitalism is, what is good at, where capitalism underperforms, what challenges does it pose and how do we solve them?

After the event, we’ll be serving food for those who would like to stay and connect. 😊🍲
